Rock Climbing

Bring the family along for a day of rock climbing out at Tyers Park, 15min North of Traralgon.

An abandoned lime quarry now makes for a perfect spot for beginner climbers to get a feel for the activity. Geologically this place is special as its an ancient coral reef and you can still find fossils of coral and marine creatures amongst the rocks.

Accessible via a steep bumpy 2wd track to the bottom of the cliff that brings you to a wide flat space where you can be apart of the activity even if you don't wish to participate in the climbing yourself. We always need help gearing people up or to take photo's.

Option of a shuttle shuttle bus from Tyers township or you can choose to drive yourself in.

When:                Saturday 27th November 9am to 1pm

Where:               Meeting at Tyers Township opposite the service station

Cost:                  $40 per person or $80 for a family up to four

Accessibility:     This event is suitable for all ages and the vehicle brings you right to the base of the                                               cliff. Anyone can attend and climbing is optional. Please note that there are no                                                       toilets on site.
